Edge diesel programmer w/attitude for sale (for a friend)

A friend of mine has a Edge programmer for his old 2003 LB7 duramax
It is complete w/wiring, Owners manual, and instruction dvd
He bought and 08' duramax and it will not work on the new truck
make any reasonable offer and I am sure he will accept

usually those programmers are written to record the vin # of the vehicle and will only work for the original vehicle....so you can't do all your buddy's trucks for free kinda thing....might wanna try it on another truck before you try and sell it and u got a bad rap and a pissed customer

As long as you remove the Programming form the truck they will Work....
But i Agree do a Double check before someone takes it and is Pissed off later

  ......The edge attitude w/juice is all inline connections, its not like the hypertech that programs by swapping out factory programs for hypertech programs.......It takes the factory program and tweaks it without removing it

but the module itself usually codes itself to the vin of the vehicle when used for the first time

I have never herd of it doing that. I have a friend that took his off his 2003 and put it on his 2007 and it worked just fine.
Might be wrongh but i dont think so..
