11:1 for me, need to stay on pump. I live in nowheresville and hard to find good high octane gas. Have to drive 20 minutes just to get 91. 30 to get 93.
Krandall: "peelz. I'll be real with you. As much as I hate on you for soccer, I really don't mind it"

Krandall

It boils down to... Do you want to run race gas or not.

wobble

Stick with 11.5:1 for pump gas safe. Stock is 9.2:1.

+ 1

The Tech 11.5:1 piston from TQS is the best pump gas safe piston you can get IMO....I would've run that if Steve had them in stock at the time.

Wiseco's 11:1 piston is pretty nice, runs great with 93.

VelociRaptor

Wiseco is good but needs about .040" off the cylinder deck to get it were it needs to be and if your runnin + size intake valves youl need to flycut the piston bigger but not deeper.
I would run the 11.5:1 TQS.

Colorado700R

Always measure before decking anything, even with a "known" Piston..

<---------Learned the hard way with a CP 12-1, shaved the cylinder down based upon what was known at the time, turned out the pistons had just began to be corrected.  The piston was over deck when we assembled....bad juju
