7k to Replace AC?

Our air conditioning went out a couple days ago and the guy came and said to replace the whole upstairs system its going to be a little more then 7k. Compressor and actual unit

All mid grade stuff is what we will be put in.

High - low - just right?

Damn i wish u would of posted this earlyer. One of my friends dad own a A/C and heating company. But to me that sounds alittle high!

i can get a whole ac unit installed for 3k, and that is a lenox, heck for 7k, i can get a whole furnace and a/c installed.  i cant imagine that you should pay more than 3k unless the labour is absolutely outrageous.
