I bent my steering stem and am lookin at some options to replace it.. My buddy has a TAG stem that fits his 05 yfz450, was wondering if this would work? Also another friend has his stock stem off his 07 yfz, was wondering if this would fit? My quad is a 2007 raptor 700 se2.

The YFZ stem will drop in, BUT it is about ~1" shorter depending on the year it was on and your bars will probably hit your tank unless you run extra spacers on the clamp.

Krandall

Yea, if you use a YFZ Stem you WILL need bar risers.

I got the same stem, but IMO its cheaply made and it still hit my gas tank.

Spend the extra 50 bucks and get a Herman Racing stem. VERY NICE PIECE!

Are you sure about +3/4 ?? Houser only makes a + 1 1/4 for the 700. I have one also with antivibe bar clamp and love it as well.

Sorry, I did'nt see your post.

90% sure it is'nt bent, the gusset was just a precautionary measure. My Herrman racing +2 clears it no problem

Krandall

I know, but you don't even have to roll the quad to bend that support. Nick was riding @ Silver Lake. He had bar risers and his bars hit his tank still, pulled the plastics off, and we were able to rebend it back into place by hand.

Yes I am sure. they made them for a while for the 450's also.  I noticed that they don't sell them any more on their site or at TuckerRocky which is where I got mine.
