check out my new toy. its a perception sport swifty 9.5 ft kayak. with the paddle, kayak, and watertight box i bought, im only in it $400. everything i got was from dicks sporting goods. i cant wait, took it out in my back yard yesterday to the river to try it and i was surprised. its very easy to paddle and it is easily manuverable (sp?)

anybody else into this kinda thing?

oh and im taking it out on the local dam this friday and might try to mount the go pro on it =) then im going water skiing. gotta get vids of that too

I daydream about doing that whenever I am at the sporting goods store. We always went on the CAli mountain rivers when I was a kid. Kinda boring in Iowa though

I have a 17' Current Designs Storm, sea kayak.  I also bought a Pungo Classic 12' from a buddy.  I'd like to do some whitewater stuff but there is nothing like that around here.  I went over a small waterfall on the San Marcos river but that's pretty much the extent of my excitement.  I mostly just go down a creek, river or lake.

mostly stock with a 12t sprocket of fury

I love it, been wanting to get one for years. But I have to be home for longer than two weeks to really justify buying one
