need your help guys on power commander

Greeting,
i have a Yamaha raptor 700 2009, i installed dual exhaust system from barker, and soon i will be putting on K&N air intake. Last weekend my friend gave me new power commander...this is what happened to me
1-installed the power commander right from the box. I did not connected to my PC..
2- After i finished there was no sound from the fuel pump so the bike did not start.
3- Last thing i found out that on the catalog of the power commander it says raptor 2006/2007!!!! So would that be a reason?
i would appreciate your help guys

sounds like u missed your ground wire... the pc3/5 work on all year 700's

I would double check everything. If you turn the key on, the fuel pump will prime even without a fuel controller I believe. do any of your lights come on (ie: nuetral, headlights, etc..)?

The display screen shows the following
1- Check engine light on
2- Error!!
