My worst wreck to date happened when I was going down a gravel road

My buddy was in front of me on a 400ex and I was on the Scrambler 400 I had at the time. We both had the gas pinned messing around and we were moving right along down the gravel road (this was at night) and I seen a flash to my right. It was an eye ball......of a deer....running full bore. I had just enough time to try and brake and turn for a split second. I clipped the ass of the deer and that kicked me sideways. So now I am in a sideways slide going down the gravel road, I am guessing by this time I was still going 40 or so. My right headlight was pointing at the ditch on my left, and the left headlight was busted out.

Then all of the sudden I feel something smack my leg extremely hard, and I go sailing off and at the same time get a helmet full of deer hair....hit another one, but this time it was a direct hit. I was skidding down the road and rolled into the ditch and looked up just in time to see my quad tumbling through the air, across the ditch, through a barbed wire fence, and land upside down in a harvested bean field.

First deer survived unharmed I think, second deer was toast. We took it home and cut out the meat that was still good and had a grilled deer feed that night 

I ended up with a totaled quad and a broken ankle. I went out the next day on crutches and fixed the fence that my scrambler wrecked

a kid from my high school got a deer on his ranger.

figured doing 45+ down the road. head on. Kid broke both arms.
