My girlfriend has an 03 maxima se, and it came with 19 inch rims and she only had them on one week when she bought it since winter had started. Then she didn't wash them before putting them away, i told her like 10 times to wash'em! She learned her lesson i guess, anyways I put the rims on today and i was just wondering if there is any way to fix this shit or what, maybe help it look a little better. I'll go get a pic right now. Thanks

Can you polish it out and repaint or clear coat it?  What kind of finish is on the wheel now?  Aluminum with clear?  Painted?

Looks powdercoated to me. Take some Mothers to it and see what happens.

If it's clearcoated, you might be in trouble. You will know after a bit of polishing.

that "lip" isn't chrome, either polished aluminum or clear coated aluminum.

Get some aluminum polish and a microfiber rag, when you wipe it on the wheels, the polish/rag should turn black....if it doesn't turn black, then you might as well quit, you will just tear up the clear coat.

If it does turn black, then you can polish them.  Just use some 0000 grade steel wool and some aluminum polish and go to town, that will get them looking damn near new again.  Follow up with a microfiber rag and some more polish and you will be all set.

looks like a clear coat issue to me...did you use the wheel/tire cleaner at the carwash? that crap tears up clear coat/paint.
