Can i still ride?????????

I installed a GYTR intake and a GYTR pipe on my 06 700r, can i still ride it or do i really need to get the Power Commander??

If you keep your lid on, I think you will be fine. I know Yamaha boasts that you can run their intake and their pipe w/ out re-mapping. I'd talk to the dealership and see if they can adjust your map for you. I know I heard another member on here who did that for them.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah i was just wondering if it was safe for me to ride it, i won't open it up until i get my Power Commander.

I've been riding for 3 years with the GYTR pipe and no power commander... No problems

You should be fine as long as the lid stays on your airbox. I rode mine for months with my pipe an a vented lid and I did ok
