Has anybody used or know anything about STI paddle tires?  I have a set on hold right now and will possibly pick up tomorrow.  They are selling for $269 for the full rear set with rim.  My wife and I are planning a trip to Glamis this May and need to get some, but don't want to throw money away if I am going to have to replace them after a year of use.  Hoping to get to dunes more often this year.

for $42.85 a tire.. I think it's hard to go wrong honestly.

I mean they won't be the "Top of the line" lightest most aggressive tire out there.. but it'll get you around the dunes just fine!

okay, cool.  I figure it will at least get me started and if we do go to the dunes as often as we would like we could always upgrade.

Make sure you bring your other tires just in case though, but i wouldn't go out and spend a ton of money if its not something you do a lot.
