Well like many others, I wanted some different colors on my Rappy. My youngest son wanted his hood black as well. So I searched Walmart, and found some paint that is made for flexible plastic. Its called Krylon Fusion.

Here is a pic of the can.

It says no sanding or primer required. I used the Hood on one of the 80's as a test piece. After several days of riding in the woods, it still looks great!

So I broke down and did some painting on mine as well. I painted my tank topper, which was already black but looking rough. Also did my Blue hood, Black key holder and black case saver cover. They all came out looking great.

Judging from my youngest sons 80, which spent about 3 hours directly behind my 700 on dirt and gravel roads the other day, this paint should hold up great! Plus, at $1.69 a can, I can touch it up whenever I need to. And this is ALOT cheaper than buying new plastics if your Rappy Modding funds are low.

Horsepower is like a condom, I'd rather have it and not need it.. Than need it and not have it.
