I would recommend trying this combination.
Dual exhaust( barkers)
bored throttle body(kds)
11:1 stock bore piston (barkers)
CNC ported head (barkers)
our designed cam (barkers)

This will give you low to mid 70s on pump gas if you need more then go into the bottom end.

Tim, are you able to CNC off an already ported head? ???

I can if it hasn't been taken out to far.

Krandall, I'm in the market right now for a head. Let me know if you wanna do stock plus cash for yours.  I'll be tearing down this week so that will be a decision maker for me.  I'm deploying to Afghanistan in a few weeks so gotta get this done before then.

I have brand new heads that are already done also. I just do an exchange or will sell them outright. The core charge is 450.

Track Port. Stock Valves. Was supposed to be +1. But he didnt recieve them with adequet time for him to put them into mine before I needed my motor back, Upgraded springs and HC Stg 2 cam.

how much of a gain did u see with that port job? I would be very interested in doing a straight up trade (plus some cash of course) with you for my stock head with HC2 cam if the gain is worth it and if u are serious about getting the CNC head.

So I just traded my LTR with a guy for a raptor 700
Im new to raptors, so I just want to know what the best order for doing the popular mods would be.  It already has a GYTR intake, and PCIII.  I know duals are my next item to get.  I'm planning on doing cam, TB bore, piston, P&P, and a stroker crank.  And it's going to be a work in progress, so I'm wondering in what order should I do these mods to get the best benefit if I'm doing these one at a time.
The duals first are a good move. The rest will depend on your abilities to do the work yourself, and your final goals. I see that you mention a stroker crank. You must consider compression ratio when going to a stroker motor. A 5 or 6 mil stroker will increase compression .7-.8, so if you are building it for a specific fuel you will need to take that into consideration. There are a couple more decisions you will have to make. The Hotcam will make a terrific gain on a stock motor, but will not be able to fully exploit a CNC head. A larger cam will not see full potential without a ported head. ::) The best thing would be to come up with some solid goals so you don't end up spending your money twice. The guys have given you good info so far...... Just kinda try to nail down some details so we can save you some money by only having to buy the parts once.

DL700 will be doing a complete KDS Racing build including;
+1 CNC head
Ferrea valves
"RJ" series cam
Beehive springs
12.5:1 piston
+3 TB.
If you like what you see in that test, the components will be available separately or in kit form. The Dynatek adjustable ignition will be an option on the kit. This will get you into matched parts with the proper ignition curve. Good luck on your build. The Raptor 700 is the best quad ever to mod, everything makes power on it.
