does anyone have any info for a stereo reciever. I'm in the market for a new one.. not looking for the best by any means. Looking to spend $250-350ish.

I have my TV, XBOX 360, and DVD Player I'd like to go through it for sure. I'm running component on the xbox, and HDMI on the dvd player.

I have a Yamaha and love it(Go figure)

Mine's a model year or two older than this one, but very similar http://www.yamaha.com/yec/products/productdetail.html?CNTID=567575&CTID=5000300

HDMI video switching is become more and more important, and for the price, this model is a good value IMO.

Yamaha and Harmon kardon are my picks.  I also like the Onkyo I'm using right now.

I missed a STEAL on a denon a few weeks back. it was a $700 reciever sold for $300 :(

Harmon Kardon is good, but the  things I've been reading about their lower priced lines aren't that great.
I'll have to check into the Yamaha more. think I might go to best buy tonight to just peruse.

Yamaha makes some good receivers in that price range, look into the RX-V463...good unit for the price.  I have a similar one in my family room, but I'm going to swap that with the garbage samsung receiver in my basement, and get the RX-V3800 for the family room...but I'm having a hard time spending that much $$ on audio equipment when there are so many things I want to do to my quads still...lol.
