Well, a bad day riding is still better than work... My son came home for 10 days from the United States Army and my brothers and I wanted to take him quad riding.

Early yesterday morning my son and I was waiting for my brothers at our rendevous point and we got a call from them. The 660 wouldn't start, the carb is clogged. My oldest brother decided to stay home, too late to fix. The day started out almost an hour behind.

My youngest brother drove and we made it to St. Helen and unloaded. We take off... I am following my best video riders, Kevin and Nick and video'ing them. About 3 corners in I am right on their ass and they are roosting dirt and rocks all over me, a great shot! I slide out wide in all the dust and debree and suddenly, whack my front tire right into a cut off stump. I go over the bars...

My quad kept going and I landed on my back. Umm, it hurt. The quad rolled to a stop and I hobbled over there. I snapped my heavy duty Ricky Stator tie rod in 2 places. My quad is done for the day in 7 minutes... I thought, At least I got it on video. I look, SHIT! I accidentally put the Go Pro in photography mode, no video!

I won't bore you with the time I spent trying to fix it, but my brother Kevin said. "Ride my 700 and go with your son". I did, a short ride and made a video... I had big plans for this video and just ended up doing the best I could being down a rider and quad... I am pretty sore today...
