Minor changes, not sure about the grille, don't like it in white, but looks nice in black... made in the USA is nice!

I like the switch to maxxis tires, dislike like the grill (Almost looks like a cannondale 440), and really dislike the GYTR exhaust (FMF 4.1) :puke:

I'm a fan of having a base model. Some people upgrade suspension right away.. No sense in spending factory prices for something that's gettin taken off.

meh. Semi agree...It should be MUCH cheaper then and have no exhaust too then? same bike, different shocks, and super shitty graphics. The next model up should be nicer too. "new" 7 year old shocks for over 4hundy?
and Kamakazi needs to be banned. what the hell are you smoking up there? You can always tell a raptor by the distinctive grille. so lets completely change it to make it look like a walmart lawnmower? It is a Half-assed attempt at a redesign. It is miserable.
I hope this is the last gasp before a major re-tooling. I have no desire to even see one of these. Almost makes me ashamed to be a Yamaha fanboy, and a raptor owner. :(
that said, the white/blue fenders are cool. MINUS that grill that looks like buck rogers barfed it up.

i agree with the fact that the old rappy hood was distinctive and an icon. i like the fact that the new hood looks pretty sharp and is different. i do not like the fact that that is all the yamaha engineers could do for a new 2013 model. its a pretty lame ass excuse if you ask me, i do hope that next year is a totally different rappy with maybe a new engine and chassis. Lets rephrase this a bit and say "i wish the new rappy hood was an option", kind of like the gytr stuff.

I am new here and reading this post with all the hoopla about the grill. I just bought a 2013 base model and don't see anything wrong with the grill. Of course this is my first Raptor and only got to look at the back end of the older ones so I have no clue what they looked like ?? Love the machine so far..
