Title: MAN
Post by: SprinterX on November 02, 2009, 01:47:16 PM
MAN just had his rear shock reworked by Wiig and had an extra spring that was too stiff for his application. I inquired about buying it, but he only asked for $5 to ship and it was mine. I couldn't believe $5 would cover shipping so I sent $10. Finally picked it up only to see the shipping ended up costing $11.50.
I am very appreciative to MAN for helping a fellow Raptor enthusiast and RS member.
You ROCK buddy.    Checked out pics of your ride.............NICE.

Thanx again,  Kirk

Haven't tried it yet. Still have the +4 swingarm/shock combo on. I have a 2nd SE shock that spring is going on when I put the stock swinger back on. Thanx again.

Sorry, not at this time.

I wanted an extended swinger for when we vacation trip to the dunes. Had the rear shock revalved/resprung to work with that set-up and it performs well, so I plan to keep it for dunes.
Based on researching the pros/cons of a +4 in a trail riding application I thought it would work fine but I find it a little skitery and suffers from a loss of traction. I had earlier purchased a rear SE take-off for cheap and was now looking for a stiffer spring for my weight to run with my stk swing arm.
