Title: your thoughts?
Post by: exentix on August 06, 2009, 09:10:03 AM
http://www.diamondjcustoms.com/new/widening/yamaha/raptor-350.htm

if i get this in a 4.5" or 6" without the shock conversion kit or brake lines i can run different shocks like 700r or 450 shocks. we thought about it, and i think it would be worth it, but idk if i can get enough adjustment out of the tie rods? if i can i think it would be a good investment.

If you get it without the shock mount, it will sit 3 inches too low.

they adjust, but you have to buy the extensions.

ok i just found them on their site. how much do you think i could trust this set up as far as strength goes, the 4.5" widening kit with NO shock conversion, and ill run 700r stock shocks for now, and get tie rod extensions. i ride mainly trials, very small jumps if any (no more than 5-10 feet).

ok thanks for the input.

ill probably eventually get the 4.5" w/out shock conversion and add tie rod extensions, and just run stock pogo stick 700r shocks

Sully had that on his 700, crashed it. It bent, but, no damage was done to the arms, frame etc...

oh wait...his might have been home made.  ???

I don't see any problems with it, unless you are a gncc racer
