Title: Jet Trim Seat Cover Group Buy
Post by: Krandall on March 23, 2009, 09:23:30 PM
Alrighty.. I've been working with Kelly from JetTrim. With a big shout out to G-Man to getting the ball rolling on this deal.
If you haevn't seen their covers... First check out preddy's BA cover.

They have TONS of color options which can be seen here: http://jettrim.com/swatches/  the menu for the different types is on the left.

These seats are 100% customizeable. From color to the stitching. I couldn't find any page for specific examples of their stitching types they offer, I called and talked to kelly and she said this page: http://jettrim.com/products/index.php?p=view&productid=6  You will find all of the different types they offer.
This Group buy, we need 3 seat sold. The discount on these will be 15% off. This group buy will be open for 14 days. Closing 04/06/2009. Once the GB is closed. I will provide everyone w/ the discount code to provide Kelly so she knows your part of the groub buy.

I think I got all the info. If you have any questions you can post up here or give kelly a call @ 928-855-1919

Hey preddy

what do they call that stitching?  looks good.  my girlfriend likes the flames.  they have a tribal flame that would go with the oem graphics on my 08 SEII.

can't believe more guys aren't in on this.  custom seat cover for $100.  the local upholsterer here said that is a great price for one offs.  same basic pattern but

whatever colors and fabrics plus some cool stitching.  let's get some more orders going....

posted some general messages on other forums.  we'll see if they get shut down.  i've read that other forums don't play well together.  that's a shame, we are all in this for the same thing, good deals, good info and good fun.  all the forums should work together, JMO.

yeah i think im going to go all black with the tribal flame stitch, tribal flames done with red stitching. this should give me just the right red to black ratio on my 08 SEII.

When I spoke with Kelly, I asked her about installing the covers.  She said they do it for $10 plus the shipping costs.  If you are close to them, it would be well worth it.  The seats may be a little costly to ship due to the size, not weight.  I found a small local upholstery shop that will do it for $15.  I'm going that direction.  They make a hump seat similar to the Tech Quad so I would think they could give you a little more cush.  A call to Kelly will get you set up, she is really great to work with.

They don't have it listed on their web site.  Kelly said they do offer one for the Raptor 700.  Check out the hump seat for the Honda 450R here  http://www.jettrim.com/products/index.php?p=typeimages&typeid=25&productid=4 (http://www.jettrim.com/products/index.php?p=typeimages&typeid=25&productid=4)  You can compare the standard to the hump and get an idea what they do.  Looks good for the Honda.    I may look into this option really close.  Need to know the pattern layout.  Gotta make a phone call myself.

Just talked to Kelly about the hump seat.  She isn't positive on the pattern but thinks it looks very similar to the Honda 450R hump seat.  A little different than the standard Raptor 700 layout.  Wish they had a photo but may have to dive in and see how it goes.  I will probably be calling in our order tomorrow.

Another Wooo Hooo for Jet Trim!!!!

Hey All

Get this.  I talked to Kelly to get some info on the Raptor hump style seat.  She had found someone that had line art for the Raptor hump seat.  She hadn't seen it before and to her surprise, you would be able to choose up to 5 colors.  She faxed it to me and here is a rough, very rough, description.  It has a front tip section.  The main seating surface.  The sides run from the front to almost the rear.  The rear sides and rear top like the Honda hump.  That really through a wrench in our color plans.  We are going to try to come up with colors this weekend and order Monday.  If anyone wants the line art, let me know and I can fax it to you tomorrow from work.  I will be there from 11:30-5:00 pst.  I'll check my messages before I go in.  This could be very cool!!!!!!!!

man...i so wish i woulda sent my seat in... :'( :'( :'(

i had my wife take mine to the shop near-by....

well she eather dropped the "hump foam piece", or the guy just didnt put it in there(doubtful).

now i have a seat thats made for a hump...but has no hump...

dont get me wrong the guy did a real good job installing and if i didnt know this was made for a hump seat i would totally be satisfied.

i was so angry when i got home from work.

now i have to have wife take it in to fix it, if hes got the piece, if not, ill have to order another foam piece... :'(

eather way this will cost me time or money.... :'(

ill post pics of it when its finished...

wish i didnt have to work so much, i could take care of crap like this on my own, 60 hrs a week is kikin my ass.

hump seat EPIC FAIL!

Damn, that sucks!!!  I talked to Kelly today and she is shipping our seats out tomorrow.  Hope to see them next Tuesday.  I mentioned what happened with your seat foam and she said to give her a call and she would get one out to you.  She is really cool to work with.  My girlfriend's seat is black and white carbons.  Kelly said it looks really good.  Didn't say anything about mine  :'(.  Mine is all black with different carbon textures and vinyl.  Guess we will know next week.  Be sure to give her a call.

My all black looks really good in person with the large carbon seat, medium grip sides and small carbon rear with some vinyl thrown in BUT, the girlfriend's black and white really looks bad ass.  She picked out the pattern with colors and textures.  She has large carbon black seat, white small carbon sides, black small carbon rear sides and white small carbon rear center with black vinyl front.  I think it really looks awesome!!!  When I talked to Kelly to see when they would ship, she said the black and white really looked bitchin'.  She wasn't kidding.  Guess the GF is one up on me with her seat.  Turned out to be a really cool early Mother's day present.  Thanks to Jet Trim.  The GF wants to get rid of the red rear fender and get an all white, what are your opinions out there?

Jet Trim is awesome.  Kelly did a great job helping me design this seat.  I had to send my seat in to them because they did not have a hump seat for a 660 so they needed my base to design one.  I had them design a seat with snake skin on top, ostridge on the sides and rear along with carbon fiber corners with orange stitching.  The pics turned out good but it is awesome in person.

I purchased the Maier plastic.  They have a black carbon fiber color.  I know it's not the true carbon fiber but it does look cool.  I'm having BRM Offroad make some graphics for it.  It should be sweet when it's all done.
