This is done so that maybe someone may benefit from it. I have my Raptor 700 broke down to do some motor work and get the frame coated. I needed to chase some holes with a tap and know what the lengths were of some of the bolts. Also needed to know some socket sizes for the motor work. So here are the thread sizes lengths and nut sizes I have found.
Will be listed in this order- thread size then pitch then length. Length is for threaded shaft not including the head. If there are more than length of bolt to the same part it will be listed also and how many. All sizes are metric and lengths are listed in millimeters. Also right side and left side are as you would be if you were sitting on the bike.
There are only 4 tap sizes that I have found so far for this:
M5-0.8
M6-1.0
M8-1.25
M10-1.25
Socket sizes are- 36mm, 30mm, 27mm, 22mm.
Coil mount bolts: M5-0.8, 20mm
Frame Skid plate bolt: M6-1.0, 30mm
Air Box mount bolts: M6-1.0, 21mm
Battery Hold down & tray bolts: M6-1.0, 20mm(3) 30mm(1)
Rectifier/regulator bolts: M6-1.0, 25mm
Oil Tank bolts: M6-1.0, 20mm
Front Brake line T-mount to frame bolt: M6-1.0, 25mm
Rear Fender bolts: M6-1.0, 21mm(3)
Rear Fender to grab bar bracket bolts: M6-1.0, 14mm(2)
Rear Fender to lower bracket allen head bolts: M6-1.0, 22mm(2)
Front Fender bolt( below radiator): M6-1.0, 12mm
Front Fender bolt to headlight bracket(under fender): M6-1.0, 30mm
Front Fender bolt lower bracket allen head: m6-1.0, 22mm
Gas Tank bolts: M6-1.0, 35mm
Headlight Bracket to frame bolts: M6-1.0, 30mm(2) 14mm(2)
Coolant Reservoir bottle to frame bolts: M6-1.0, 16mm
Clutch Cover bolts: M6-1.0, 30mm
Clutch Spring bolts: M6-1.0, 30mm
Left Side Case bolts: M6-1.0, varied lengths
A.C. magneto cover bolts: M6-1.0, 30mm
Right Side Case bolts: M6-1.0, 70mm(3)
Reverse Bracket mount bolt( to the motor): M6-1.0, 12mm
Cam Chain slider bracket bolts( in motor): M6-1.0, 16mm
Breather plate bolts(covers balancer driven gear #1): M6-1.0, 12mm
Oil line adaptor to Stator cover bolt: M6-1.0, 25mm
Cam Cover bolts: M6-1.0 20mm
Cam Chain tensioner to cylinder allen head bolts: M6-1.0, 25mm
Oil filter cover allen head bolts: M6-1.0, 39mm(1) 95mm(2)
Water pump bolts: M6-1.0, 25mm(3) 50mm(2) 110mm(1)
Starter Motor to case mount bolts: M6-1.0, 30mm
Front Bumper bolts: M8-1.25, 14mm
Fender Bracket to frame bolts ( rear fender): M8-1.25, 20mm & 16mm
Steering Stem Bushing bracket bolts: M8-1.25, 60mm
Chain Roller inside frame: M8-1.25, 45mm
Rear Brake Bracket to frame bolts: M8-1.25, 35mm(2) 16mm(1)
Front Motor Mount Bracket to frame bolts: M8-1.25, 20mm
Rear Grab Bar to frame bolts: M8-1.25, 30mm
Exhaust Can mount bolts: M8-1.25, 20mm (Sparks)
Front half(steel) to Rear Half( aluminium) frame bolts: M10-1.25, 23mm 30mm(2)
Subframe mount bolts: M10-1.25, 35mm
Foot peg to frame mount bolts: M10-1.25, 60mm( AC nerfs)
Front Motor Mount bolt: M10-1.25, 110mm
Bottom Motor Mount bolt: M10-1.25, 90mm
A.C. Magneto rotor nut: 22mm
Balancer driven gear nuts (1 &2): 27mm
Cutch hub nut: 30mm
Nut holding water pump drive gear, primary drive gear & balancer drive gear: 36mm
Front sprocket nut: 36mm
Crank threads (magneto side): M16-1.5
Crank threads ( clutch side): M20-1.0
Counter Balancer threads: M16-1.0
Rear motor mount, Swingarm bolt: M16-1.5,305mm
These are the bolts for the cylinder head and cylinder. A few of these bolts have uncommon threads that are not standard. Those that are odd will have a”*” beside them.
Top motor mount bracket to frame bolts: M8-1.25, 14.5mm
Top motor mount bracket to cylinder head bolt: M10-1.25, 55mm
External oil line Banjo bolts:M10-1.25, 21mm
External oil line mount bracket allen head bolt: M6-1.0, 12mm
Cam Chain sprocket bolts: * M7-1.25, 11mm
Exhaust Stud bolts: M8-1.25
Cylinder Head bolts: allen head- M6-1.0, 38mm(2)
*M9-1.25, 38mm(2)
*M9-1.25, 135mm(2)
*M9-1.25, 144mm(2)
Cylinder bolts: allen head- M6-1.0, 40mm(2)
M10-1.25, 110mm(4)

Dang. AWESOME post man!!! I lost all mine for my air box when I tore it apart. ended up re-tapping and using Standard..... ::) :lol:

I will be adding more to it. As I am putting it back together I will be measuring and recording as much as I can. All requests and suggestions welcomed. I will remember alot but I know i will not remember it all. So I will write it down and make sure I get it when I am working on it.

Anyone know the size of the TPS "safety" bolts? need to swap those out so I can adjust the TPS as needed.

Anyone know the rear sprocket bolt size ?.. 8mm or 10mm ? Don't have my raptor near, but i saw that one just fell off and other are loose. Got to be my mistake to not remove the paint before thighting em down...
