Is there a differance between the 2006 suspension and later models? :help:
Oh yes there is!!! huge difference.
the 06 shocks are about as cheap as it gets and the 08se's and all 08's are a pretty damn good shock for being stock. They have TONS of adjustments.
but the 06's will feel better than an 05 350 right? ??? :'(
it probably wont be that much of a difference. but youll be hauling ass so who cares. you could always buy a pair of 08 shocks off ebay when u get some cash.
if/when i put other shocks on it, it will probably be yfz shocks :grin_nod:
mine came with yfz shocks ???

i paid $2200 for the shocks and the rest came free!
:ot: :bash:
the 06's are all crappy, the standard 07's are too, but 07 se's are a step up, and all the 08's are the same as the 07 se's... and i think the 09's got upgraded again? correct me if im wrong...

KTM motor, Fox shocks, Douglas Wheels, Maxxis Tires, steel braided brake lines. I've had to replace about everything made and put together by Polaris including most of the bolts on the quad including front wheel bearings, and one rear one. I love pulling them out and see China on the back of them. This is the last Polaris I'm going to own. I like the quad it just was not put together well and Polaris is to blame for that one.

now your talking some sense!!!!!
I never had any problems out of my Predator that thing was a tank. The Outlaw IRS not so much
... back on topic: I'll further complicate the '06 shock issue by throwing out that the shocks of the '06 SE are different than regular '06 shocks - still no reservoir but more adjustable.
My 06 shocks resemble the shocks that came with my '88 Blaster
Surely this was on oversite by Yamaha right...
That and the fuel pump I think are the only weak links to the 06 models

The early 06's had the faulty fuel pumps, my fuel pump is the faulty part number but it works fine after 2.5 years. Go figure
2.5 years and about 20,000 thousand miles
20,000 miles & my 3rd chain, original brake pads up front, 2nd set of pads on the rear
 Need to chnage the pads all the way around soon

That's how I am! I'm on my 2nd set on the rear. Still have the stockers on the front.. I even have new ones sitting in the garage waiting to be thrown on the front...
The guy used to get off work and ride three hours a day on gravel roads in Southern Minnesota. Its been a great machine for him. I should have bought one at the same time.
I noticed my front tires won't lock up evenly, so finally time to replace the pads.
I've had that front set of pads for a year now
I saw someone on RF replace the 06 rear rotor with a 07 rear rotor because its cross drilled & under $40
I got it.

Done
