That's right, today we will head out on our voyage. I will try to take as many pics as possible on the way (and start a new thread every time to give you guys something to clean up) and post them up as we go. There are 4 helmet cams in the group. 3 quads and 4 dirtbikes. One of the guys has only ridden a couple times and he just got a yz250 so there should be plenty of good footage. And then hefe said we could tape him and Starla so that will be cool right? We hope to leave Elk River by midnight tonight, Hopefully sooner, but things always come up when your trying to leave, and rolling through vegas by Sat morning.

uhhh, soOOOOOssoos, Little s big O.
We left at 1 Am last night by the time we got loaded. Plan was to leave by midnight, so not bad.

We made it 25 miles before we had our first problem. Trailer front left brake hanging up. We had smoke and sparks and then had to turn around because there wasn't anything open at that time. Took us till 4:20 am to get back to the house because we had to keep letting it cool.
They are trying to get it fixed now,I just woke up. Hopppefully we can leave soon.. :rolleyes:

It's as cold here as it is in minnesota, wtf. Damn I'm really ready for nice weather. We are 13 hours from Vegas then another like 5 to glamis. We will be pitching tent in the dark.

Also Jon has drive all 1100 miles so far! Non fucking stop! He is in top gear mode! He wants to make it all the way to glamis! Redbull needs to kick me a couple cans, im pretty sure I own at least 1/8 a share!

We ran out of gas almost to Salina Ut, Good thing we have a 2nd vehicle. :rofl:

We are 150 miles from vegas, looking for a hotel right now to stay at cheap and safe for the quads tonight.

Jon is still driving!!! 1600 miles under his belt! no sleep and only stopping for gas and food! Insane, he might be the son of the STIG!

Ok, so update on what's been going on.

Showed up in vegas at like 11pm, found a cheap, I mean super ghetto motel, The fun city motel.
Then hit the strip and drank just the right amount. Axleguy is a pretty good hooker negotiator cuz he's so cheap. lol
Watched a few people get DUI's, I filmed a DUI walk the line test! I don't know if you will be able to see anything because of how dark it was.
I am gonna wait to upload when we get to glamis and use wifi.
My legs are so done for after walking down one side of the strip, lol. We didn't get back to the hotel till 5. Then up at 7:30. What a city, got offers for hookers and coke within the first block,and had some bombass taco's on the strip. I had El Pastor, try it.... lol. I hear that behind 7-11 there Bj's are only 20bux! that's like a dollar menu! hahaahah sooo soo ghetto.
We had to get some bolts and had Jack in the box(been waiting 4 years for that) Love that place.
Now we are are 2 hours from Glamis. SOo SOO excited to ride, and sleep tonight ahhahahahaha.

Ok so I'll check in later once we are set up and get a ride in. I'm so happy this is the only way I can describe it ... :mdymca:

Yamaha is here doing a photoshoot for the 2012's and having a company ride , they won't let me ride the new one even though I represent the raptorsource lol

Our neighbor has a paraglide two seater and is gonna bring some of us for a ride. And he has a rail we get to go in. I'm to fat to fly, but they are takin the helmet cam up

2 bikes blew up a mile out, one still out there from yesterday, hard to recover them.

We have helmet cam forage from the flight of glamis and our camp site .
Also the same dude took 3 of us for a 1 hour sand rail ride , ls1 powered. It was awesome! ERMAHGERD I need one. Going up olds hill and navigating the dunes was so cool. That thing just ate the bumps up . We are not gonna hit dumont. We are gonna stay here.

35 mph winds all day , awesome for the sand but killed a tent and almost our canopy. Pretty much a sandstorm.
As for me, just Doing awesome wheelies, shifting through the gears and almost able to stop mid wheelie.:)

They want 400/hr to tow people out. 2$ a stick of wood.
Glamis beach store is an assrape and then they act like your lucky to be there.
Stick to sweet Marie's at the geko rd vendor. And crazy Kevin's.

We are heading back, every bike /quad had some type of issue, I was out 5 miles and lost all my carrier bolts and my chain kept slipping, I'm sure I coulda found some new ones in town, but every other person was out of cOmmison.
First day lance's klx650 got
The chain jammed between the case and the front sprocket. His bike was out there over night.
Axleguys yz450f breather tube clOgged and blew out some cover on the front, cam cover?
little buddy's kx250's clutch went out, that sat overnight in the dunes.
Alex's yz250 is having carb issues.
Ryan's starter in his trx450 went out
Jon lost power in his predator
And lances other bike yz250 throttle cable broke.

Sorry man, I wanted to but were only in vegas on the way out and you wern't there yet. On the way back we skipped it and to Hwy 40 east and went up through NM and TexaSS.
