Post by: Kamakazi on January 07, 2012, 01:31:51 AM
Ive just started to get back into board games.  Some of my favorite are Settlers of catan, ticket to ride, carcassone, and i just bought Black Gold, and 7 Wonders.  Just wondering what your peeps play when you get the chance.

I've herad nothing but good things about settlers of catan, I'm yet to play it though. I  just got a new one for Christmas. "Game of Thrones". I've played it before w/ the bro in law in Australia. Tough thing is.. You need 3 people minimum. Hard to find 3 people who want to play a nerd-esque type board game.

If you've read the books you'll love this game. :)

I've never heard of any of your stupid Canadian board games.

EA games had a sale going on in the itunes store, bought a lot of board games for the ipad like monopoly, trivial pursuit, risk, life, etc.

You live in Southern Canada, you are not an authority on such matters.

I love the game! It's kind of like risk. A bit more in depth, and you take out the "chance" of dice rolling. The larger army typically wins. I heard there was a PC game, but I am yet to play it.
