Title: ATV's a side
Post by: Gunz on December 04, 2011, 01:42:02 PM
Beside four wheelers, what other hobbies do you have? Between work, life and wheeling every weekend I don't have much time for any other hobbies. I've been thinking about getting a RC car lately. I used to collect baseball cards, I probably have close to 100,000 cards. My prized card is a Ted Williams.

Shooting, and some (very) amateur gunsmithing.

Used to really be into 4x4's and still have a couple pretty built trail/rock rigs.

I've always wrenched on all my own stuff, not sure if that's a hobby or just broke-assed MF that wants more stuff than he can afford.

That's really kind of it, never collected anything that I couldn't shoot, drive, or ride.

Also into Road Bikes, current (& for forseeable future) ride is a Suzuki TL1000S
Looking at a 1080 kit for it currently........

Archery, have a Bowtech Guardian, only problem is having time to play with it

Music, play drums in a Garage Band

Women, never have enoug time to play with them either, so seem to keep loosing them as a result............

Life for me is dominated by work, I do some reasonably hitech stuff, & enjoy many aspects of it.
It has meant I have been able to meet such people as Aaron & Nikki, Scooter, & Reich, but it also means very long hours, & being away from home for months at a time.

I have no issue with a required saftey course to own a gun. Just the same to me as requiring drivers ed prior to getting a drivers license.

Sorry, maybe I'm wrong, I know to get a hunting permit, you have to go through gun safety training. I don't think you have to have a permit to have a gun. I'll have to ask around.

In Ia, you only need the safety course to carry concealed. But, you must first prove to the sheriff's dept that it is necessary that you carry one.

I have Kids

+1

It's all about them right now.  For me I wasn't going to have kids if I didn't set my life for theirs.   Since we picked up the motor home we've been getting out in that a few times.   But I have to say I really miss paintball.

There are certainly plenty of people who should not be given the right to "bear arms"
In fact I can think of whole states where the sale of short sleeved garments, tee-shirts, & vests should be banned.................. :P
just sayin....

Well up until I went on deployment I had a burton custom but the ex-wife figured out it was worth money and sold it. So right now I don't have one but plan on getting one as soon as I can.

It's all about setting it up in court my man, thats when you can show her all the shit you found out  the shit she thought she could lie and hide from you. I get joy out of listening to her lies even the ones she still thinks she can hide from me. Kinda like how she is still living with her grandma but her grandma see's my son every couple of days... (her grandma doesn't work either)... :jaw:
