Dale I and I left early sunday morning, rode Rockhouse sunday and monday. Might ride Bear Wallow tomorrow. Then off to Ashland resort tomorrow to ride Pinnicale Creek and Indian Ridge for the next few days. Then back to reality.

Looks like an interesting place to go ride!
AWESOME Pics jeff!! I would love to ride there some day!
Looks like alot of fun! I actually got some family out that way. Def. on my todo list.
Those were pics of the nice places, there is a lot more rock than I'm used to and I have to give Wiigstyle racing a nod because my suspension is THE SHIT! I am letting it soak up most everything. All these rocks are a serious workout and the inclines are HUGE. I will be back here, maybe in the fall. Luckily we havent hit much traffic on the trails so its a good trip. No damage which is always a good thing. I wish we would'vve stopped mid ride to get more pics but the incline/declines never show up on on the pics very well. Oh well. Ya'll be good and we will try to snap more pics but its raining today so no promises.
Rockhouse is done, between Sunday and Monday, 150 miles of trails. I still havent been thru the McDonalds drive-thru yet on my raptor.
Looks like nice weather there...and lots of trees :run:

Well Pat....funny you should mention the weather :run: We are being little bitches today as its supposed to break tonight. Tomorrow will be SUPER sloppy  I hope it drains well. Yesterday on our trip back from Mann (top of Rockhouse) it started to rain and hail a little on us. Today is a soaker with too much white stuff which the weather channel neglected to tell me about.
On the way to Ashland today...

The view out of our little cabin now, actually its just rain again now

Its supposed to clear up tonight. Wish us luck.
You ever been to Durham Town in Union Point Ga?
Hatfield McCoy looks like an awesome place to ride
looks like a KOA cabin.
bummer, hope the weather clears up for you guys!!
Today was much better, we've made it back and I've had a stiff drink so life is good. First the bad....my rack is pissing me off. Dale and I are going to reengineer it when we get home. The bag on the end of the rack is too much for it and the rack just wiggles loose. We tried lock washers with no luck. I'm going to pull it off tonight or tomorrow and ride without it. The bag....the quality of it is pissing me off too. I'm seriously thinking of making one myself based of this design but with MUCH better tweaks. Anyway, good day of riding and so far Indian Ridge is a waste of time. The best trail here is the connector trail that goes from indian ridge to Pinnacle Creek. I would still ride this place tho as a warm up to Rockhouse and know that whatever challanges you face here are green trails at Rockhouse
LAter!
The pics look amazing Jeffery! One of these days I'll make it there?
wow messy weather. great pics though!
i love it there, ill be at the ashland resort in 2 weeks for spring break.
we go quite alot. Ashland is by far the best place to stay in my opinion.
You made me jelous!
Maybe ill throw some of our pics up when i get home
Glad you enjoyed my back yard.
how much do those cabins cost to rent?

It used to be a KOA, it started off as one for like 3 years then split off into its own bussiness.
The people there are really nice and cool. And even since it left behind the KOA name, it still is as clean an well managed as one.

Only 25 minutes to a ride spot. I hate you !
I'd really like to ride CAW sometime & experience the elevation. Your pics remind me of Highland Park Resort in Cedartown
Bert, you're a ridin whore!!! you've been EVERYWHERE!
Good one
CAW would be Rally worthy

I can see the benefit of it, If I could ride all day and nothing stick to my quad...that would be nice
I'm sure dunes are great fun and hope to one day find out, but I do love me some quality trail ridin!
Just wait buddy. you'll see what the raptor was built for. Bone stock with stock tires even, its a perfect match.
I love trail riding too. But no need to travel for it....Dunes are worth the travel. Its not an anti trail riding thing at all.
I wasn't bashing sand. Aside from the Rally this fall when was a Rally held on trails. Maybe i missed it?
Just saying. Not looking to irk anyone ya know.

Duh....I forgot about the 1st rally  Its a 1000 miles down there. That sucks. If I can get away from work I'll hit this one.
Peels stop stirring the pot & shut it ! :P
Yep I said it & I stand behind my comment. Lol

mixing up a good batch in this pot here, I have to stir it for the best flavor.
The only thing about SAND that SUCKS is it's so far from Columbia SC.. ps (I live in sandhills NE Columbia lol)
But I do love some good trails.
