Curious if anyone had any tips on what they feel was the most important part of there setup, may it be cardio weight lifting suspension tires whatever. Also curious how most people setup a raptor to race the 450's
Its really a sum of everything you said coming together. Set up is huge though followed by rider skill level. Find what works for you. As track conditions change so will your set up. Always something to think about. Lol
Have you been racing your Rappy?
Depending on what racing your doing I would suggest a steering stabilizer & possibly a sway bar.
I have a lowering kit for sale if your interested.
Lowering your CG (center of gravity) will be helpful in quicker lap times.
All the power in the world is useless if your not putting it to the ground.
I can try to answer specific questions to help if you have more.
Yeah don't have a kill switch yet races start may 15 so I got some time the lowering kit in the pic is that for the front alone? How much you lookin to get for it?

I paid $60 on Egay. Never mounted it, still new & yeah that's just for lowering the front.

Yours is adjustable?
If so you might have issues adjusting your chain tension when you slam it. I did. Its either tight or loose with no middle ground. I tried best I could I maybe I missed something but there seems to be a limit one what the Rappy likes in that dept. I think it could be addressed with a chain tensionizer at the chain mid point & allow you to slam it. I now run a GT Thunder dog bone & like it.
If your looking for a sway bar Rath Racing in Hutchinson Mn has them.
400 bucks is a pretty penny for a sway bar, I got wrapped up into many things early in the year, now theres not a race till 9-11. I plan on getting ready for that one now and if i love it ill buy all the premium stuff over the winter like sway bar and tires and what not. Just gonna run the knobby tire beginner c Class. Only question is will my racing partner be there???
