Post by: raptorfireman on June 20, 2008, 10:12:54 AM
I'm going to try out a 12 tooth in the sand in Sept. Any advice? 12 vs. 14 tooth and rmatv brand vs. renthal? :help:

12 tooth will give you more bottom end, 14 more top end

it shouldnt be a problem at all, first gear was basically useless anyway before, this will make 2-3 your main cruising gears with more snap when you get on it

12 will pull much harder in the sand, especially if it's powder. This should help climbing hills!
