After seeing a guy I know skim this water hole on his YFZ, I had to give it a shot. I didn't have the balls to do it on the Raptor, so I bumped my girlfriend out of the RZR and strapped in...figured if it didn't go so well, I would rather have the 5 point harnesses and the roll cage than just my ass sitting on the seat of the raptor...lol.
The hole was 50-60' across and around 3 feet deep in the middle. I didn't walk out there to see exactly how deep it was, but there was a Jeep Cherokee on 35" tires stuck a little ways down, and the water was almost up to its door handles.
I was doing a little less than 60mph when I hit the water, and it skimmed right across with no problem. The back end started to come around on me right before I made it across, so I thought it was going to roll as soon as it hit the sand...but luckily it slid enough on the sand instead of hooking and flipping. Scared the chit out of me, but it was one of the biggest adrenaline rushes I have ever had.

Awesome! First time I've seen anyone try that in a UTV.
That's a real pucker factor....a Rzr is a lot heavier than a Raptor and prone to sinking faster....:run: :help:
Awesome!
Holy crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! way awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
