When I pull my CP 102 bore 12-1 I'll weigh it to add to the list Dave
Thanks for the post!

Read the 2nd line of my post. ;)

You do know it won't run without a piston?

He has a replacement to go in there :batman:
the NEW 11:1 CP 102 bore are about 5 grams heavier then stock on my scale...
Thanks Daniel!
Wow. 17 grams heavier than the old version? Sounds like they added quite a bit of material to get it corrected deck height. ???
yes, stock weighed 535-540 and the cp 545...
they added the material to the top of the piston to bring it up .030 from before
Thanks! I appreciate the input.
I noticed the three 105 bore 13:1 pistons I weighed were 554, 556, and 559. So there is definitely an acceptable +/- allowance for them, but this does give a good general idea.
So the new CP 11:1s are corrected deck now?

yes and have been for a while.. same with the 12.
So do you happen to know if the one I got from you is corrected or not? It was about a year ago now...
Look at the spec sheet that came with it.
Here's the sheet I found...Sorry for the semi-thread jack too..at least some good info is included in this post
Compression height of 1.081 is not corrected deck height.
Damn I only got 9.9:1 compression then :(
FYI - spoke with CP Pistons about their shelf pistons for the 700. They told me that all their shelf pistons have had the pin position relocated lower, thus increasing the compression height dimension and effectively making these "corrected height".
Also got the latest piston weights as follows:
(these include the pin, clips and ring set)
Stock 102mm 9.2:1 535-540g
M1039 102mm 11.0:1 521g
M1040 102mm 12.0:1 544g
M1041 105mm 10.75:1 528g
M1042 105mm 12.0:1 536g
M1053 105mm 13.0:1 558g
M1054 105.5mm 12.5:1 553g
