trying to twist my buddies arm right now. That thing is a beauty. Been waiting for an all black se!!!
Man that looks great! I remember seeing the 04 LE for the 1st, I had to have it. Only have 40 hrs on my 09, so its alittle to soon to buy a new one lol
It'd be interesting to see how much Yamaha Techs' pay attention to places like this. To see what people are doing to their quads to help develop the new next year quads.
Love the black frame, not a fan of black plastics. I got to see what happens to them. My friend got a 06' 400ex (all black plastics) the same time I got my rappy. He easily 1/10th the hours on his quad that I do. and his looked like hell. Black shows those scratches and scuffs all to well.
I'm with krandall on this one. Black looks awesome new but once it gets scratched it looks like shat. But that black frame is saweet! And so is the design on The seat :) any major updates?
Those Heel guards look awesome!
I like it  hate the heel guards but love the bumper. I'll be looking for one
oooh me likey the heel guards and bumper too
and did anybody else see the raptor 125?! that things sick! love the styling, and the 250 now has piggybacks :jaw:

i think its the seat
The SE looks like sex on wheels! The 125 is a pretty cool addition I have to agree. Manual 5 speed tranny, Maxxis tires and starter. :nana:
I'd trade mine in for one...
That red/white one would look SWEET with a black or red frame!
And... is it me. or are there NO graphics on the rear plastics? ???
Look closer...it says 700R on the side...some of the views it's hard to see but the 3/4 right profile you can see it as well as the side view

Does look sexy but black is a bitch for showing scratches mines got black plastics at the back and I think I would have to buy new ones when they got so bad.

I totally understand your feeling. You really can't get much sexier than what you have already ;) But I give the all black an 8/10. It's quite sexy.
Mine is slowly becoming a white/blue/black. Go and powdercoat the case, swingarm and a few other things then I would give it a 8/10.
I agree. the exhaust shield for sure.
Yeah, I don't think the Yami Engineers really care TO much about aesthetics as we do.
The shield for sure peelz.
I don't think anybody cares about quad aesthetics as we do. And you get an imaginary karma for correctly spelling that word.

Looks nice, still doesn't beat the 07 SE2, that was the best lookin Rappy yet IMO (as much as I hate to admit this to Peels) Big props for the black frame, that alone is a nice touch. I wish they would just do all the frames in black, would look better with every set of plastics I've seen on them yet IMO.

 guess what you get....
one karma
I like the heel guards but hate that Yamaha is still using the looks-like-hell-after-you-use-them-once plastic extensions. Why can't Yamaha just make wider metal ones?
It looks good now, but not for me.

The red/white SE was a horrible bastard child of too many pairs of hands. It was entirely too busy, as most of the SE graphics kits have been.
Then again, I think most of the 700R color schemes have sucked. I am a red and black kind of guy, but the only 700R color schemes I would actually want if I owned one are the blue/silver (classic), blue/black/silver (classic, but with a modern touch), 07 SE2 (like the 04/05 660's but with lots of blue), and 09 white/black (the only good use of the red frame). 06 SE gets an honorable mention, but the yellow was too vibrant for there to be so much of it. If the scheme was reversed it would have been great.
So, 3 unique color schemes a year for 6 years and 1 constant makes 19 color combinations. I like 1/4 of them...guess I'm picky.
Then there's aftermarket choices haha....

Those Heel guards look awesome!
I wonder if they will bolt up to the older models.
They should, the frame itself hasn't changed in any of the years so the mounting points are the same.
they look like they are the same bolts.
