Title: Saint Anthonys Dyno numbers.......
Post by: Gunz on May 30, 2010, 09:53:37 PM
Hansen Performance helped sponsor the Saint A's Rally. They held a BBQ and a Dyno shoot out for us on Saturday...super cool.

Were you able to get to LS to verify the difference in the dynos? Or is that Monday?

Whats your build?

Same build I've had for nearly a year. 795, barker plus 2 head.

Preddy put down 61/52
Colorado 64/52
Sac5.0 67/47 and 90hp on NOS (closest one to me except for a 102hp and 85hp banshees)
MoRaptor 59/47
Funyun 41/28 450
Dorito 39/28 450

I can't remember all the numbers, but I should have all the dynos posted up tomorrow or the next day.

Cripes, thanks for the correction.

Hey fellas post up your Dyno graphs. Brindley e-mailed them to you. I'll post up all of them later today, but I don't want to mix any of them up so post what you got.

Here's mine. This is with a generic tune that DL sent me that I think was close, but needed alot of fine tuning. I was going through ALOT of gas up there! Also realized my Dyna was set to stock :(

Shawn, I seriously think that you are losing around 10hp simple because you are running a bitch ass pipe and throttle body. I just wanted to put that out there. Someone will find the fix to the big TB's soon, so don't sweat it. Not knock'n, I just know what your build is and you should be side by side with mine.

I'm not sweating it what so ever Mike. I'm happy with it, and it does what it needs to do.

 You gotta go with what's more practical sometimes thou   I'm sure the pipe and TB is what kinda makes it roll over and die around 7k.... but that's better than running pipes that don't clear the super double duty frame gussest  ;)

Eh... numbers... who was the fockin fastest?

At this point and time I dont think duals and a TB is worth another 800-1000 RPM.

Preddy you are losing 22 horsepower from 6800 to 8800, something isn't right there, even with the restrictive parts on the bike.  Mike's bike is losing 14 horsepower from peak to redline so it needs some tuning, before it only lost a tad over ten.  With some loving I think Mike should be able cut his topend power loss in half.  Aaron needs a cam and his ignition timing done and it'll rock out.  I was just looking back at dyno characteristics of our motors from last time we dyno'd together and where the bikes peaked and what they lost.  Last time in Oklahoma mine peaked at about 8000 rpms and only lost 5 horse at 8800, I should be able to eliminate that loss entirely with some fine tuning.  Not slamming on anything or anyones bikes at all, just looking at the differences in setups and what it does to top end power, I was looking at some dyno curves from some monster 300' bikes compared to the hill bikes power curves and I think a hillbike power curve is far superior on the top.  Pretty amazing that these rappy's are able to make peak power at maximum rpm when setup correctly for it

man i thought mine was low lol......must be the elevation that throws the numbers way off.... at least the curve looks the same as it did from glamis... just a bit less mid range torque.. but u did lose a ton of air pressure up there
dyno sheet from glamis

Mo just look at how far sac's carries the torque and power all the way to the top without much loss at redline, there is alot more in your setup
