Title: Nice Basket You Got There
Post by: Alkire193 on May 13, 2010, 08:27:56 PM
Im hearing that turbo atv's are tearing up clutch baskets. Either wearing on the OEM basket with the impact of the plates or cracking / shattering the OEM basket from stress.

Im in the market for Barnett or Hinson basket, almost bought one a few months ago but I wasnt familiar enough with them to buy the guys used one.

After talking to a few guys who run billet baskets (some of whom have experienced first-hand the carnage that happens when the OEM basket fails) I decided I would order one for piece of mind. I ended up buying a Hinson. I'm sure it's probably not necessary for my little build, but it's got quite a few hours on it and I can't seem to stop making it faster.

I am also going to end up going Hinson. I get nothing but great reviews on them so I think it will handle the stress
