A couple months ago i didnt check my chain before i went and rode and knocked my chain off and broke third gear pinion gear. when i replaced third gear i put my cp piston in while it was in pieces and bout a week later we were drag racing and burnt the stock clutch out. replaced it with a barnett dirt digger. But when i looked at the clutch the the plates looked like they got hot but the friction discs didnt look bad. But i just went ahead and put a barnett in it so maybe when i put the 727 or 736 kit on it maybe wont have any clutch issues.

I decided to do some 1/4 mile drag racing awhile back. got to the track and made a few passes and the clutch started slipping. I later went and rode some trails a few days later. couldnt notice any slip. hit the blacktop and slipping again. so installed new yamaha clutch and gigot slingshot lock-up i dont think i could make it slip if i wanted to

I had problems down shifting, I would come to a complete stop and shift several times for each downshift. Upshifting was fine.  Turns out a spring came loose. I took it in to a motorcycle shop and they reused the same spring after they carefully tightened the springs hook. A new gasket & labor had me rolling again.  This was a while ago & I don't remember the specific part names now.   A few others have had the same issue but it seems pretty rare although simple. Hope this helps someone down the road.

My trans was fully rebuilt about 8 months ago. 3rd gear went completely and some other things were getting pretty worn out too. So I had it all replaced. Stock clutch is still going strong though...lol

Me I'm out spinning tires in snow. Having a blast, had a brain fart. Go through the paddles on yeahhhh. Well I came inside then dido just that went out side pulled a couple wheelies. Through some monster roost, well mine was spinning hard in second gear I hit third at WOT paddles dugg down to hard frozen dirt and boom there went output shaft and part of the center case so I'm getting a new engine even though my crank is good rod is good stock piston good cylinder good just the input/out put shaft busted along with part of the center case. So I guess these good parts are for sale now wow.

Not yet I keep getting jerked around by the sellers. Some want me to send them cash they're nuts. I have one more to look at.
