Making a topic to see how many people would be interested in a CCP stablizer for their YFZ450/R or Raptor. It is not the stick style stabilizer but instead more comparable to the high $ precision ones. A steering dampner should be considered a "must have" and one of the first mods a new owner should buy, BUT make NO mistake, these are no where near comparable to the Precision or the other high $ dampners. While they are based on a rotary style system they are still only capable of one dimension adjustability, just like a stick style dampner. Soften or stiffen their single adjustment and it's always the same dampnening whether extending or retracting, just like a stick style dampner. There's NO low speed, hi speed or return to center adjustability like the high $ dampners, so there truely is NO comparison.
I have run them all, an SRP (stick), the CCP (rotary stick) and now have the Elka 5 (high $ adjustable) and I will say that the CCP dampner is by far the best "one dimensional, single adjustment" dampner available. It's reliability is far greater than stick that tend to blow out seals rather prematurely. With this GB pricing they are cheaper than most rebuildable stick style units and are truely a great deal.
Didn't notice this before I pm'd the admin about thisid be in will it help with bump stear and help with arm fatiuge? I've never used anystyle stearing stabilizer.

"Bump steer" is actually a term used to describe wheel toe-in changes as a result of suspension movement through its range of travel. If you mean will it help from jarring the bars out of your hands when you hit a bump then yes, they work great for that. They will also help with arm fatigue by reducing your death grip on the bars and not having to physically hold/correct for every jarring bump encountered along the trail. The idea being, the dampner does the majority of the work for you.
Reviewing your sig I see you have a nice engine program going. With a steering dampner you'll be able to ride it faster, longer and not get as tired. Pretty good results for a $150 investment. Once you've riden with one you'll wonder how you every did without before. Like I said above, they truely are a "must have".
Hope that helps.
Helped out alot thanks again.
Thanks for all the great info Sprinter  makes me even more excited to get one

I need one for a raptor 660 , and 2 for raptor 700's , shipped to spain , possible ? and how much for postage ? I will pay imediatly on knowing ammount
There is not a CCP for a Raptor 660, but it can be adapted if you have a little know how of remaking brackets...
two 700's to spain then. I have a streamline on the 660 but I dont like em much . Have what I think is an early
pep on one 700 and it fixes to the frame a different way , I find the stramlines come loose .
Should email the guy (cncsomething, it's in the group buy post) and ask about extra cost for shipping...
Also new to the site - just sent payment for 1.
Great deal - thanks, guys.
