I just purchased a used +3 TB and taking a few things off to clean up a check things. So I remove the Fast idle plunger unit and notice that rubber gasket is missing the center rubber to seperate the 2 sides of the plunger body. I'm sure I'm not explaining this right so I have inclosed a picture. I quess my question can that center rubber gasket be missing or should get a new gasket.

Its the black rubber seal above the Fast idle plunger unit body it doesn't have a number. Also directly above the 3 screw. Like I said mine is missing the center section of the rubber. Thanks
that is normal, the rubber gasket does not fully connect in that area

Yep your right. I pulled the stock TB apart and checked it and it was the same way. Thanks
Got another question what do you all use to get the TPS bolts out? Its a torx type bolt with that safety nipple in the center of it. I have a same T27 torx will that size work or is it metric. Thanks for the help again.
cant recal the size but its std torx
isn't it a saftey torx? center pin style?
It is a saftey torx, T25 is the size.
