Title: Need help finding atv work table thingy
Post by: Headrope on November 08, 2009, 02:07:37 PM
I'm trying to find an atv work table that looks like a scissor lift, but is not hydraulic. It's made of steel and folds flat like a lawn chair for storage. To use: Unfold it, stand your quad on end and strap the table to the underside of the quad; then lower the quad as you would regularly and it rotates onto the legs of the table, raising the quad to a scissor-lift level.

A buddy of mine received one as a gift so we don't know where it came from. It's trick as hell though and terrific for tall dudes like me that are tired of laying on the floor.

I've already checked Harbor Freight and they don't seem to have it. Any ideas?

Seen something that sounds similar on ebay.  You might try searching there.

That's it!
Dang. I searched forever for tables, workbenches ... everything but 'stands'.

Yes! Yamahasportsplaza.com (which is in the Seattle/Tacoma area) sells aftermarket parts at discounts too (OEM stuff is 30 percent off if ordered online). I can get the stand for just about $100.

Works great. Stand the quad up, strap the table to it and lower the nose of the quad as you would normally.
Makes life a little bit easier for a tall dude like me.
Am toying around with altering the table though, to allow oil changes from underneath it.
