Title: Rear brake rotor
Post by: vreds on October 12, 2009, 05:24:09 PM
I bent my rear brake rotor, I need another one, a better one, the 2006 one is a POS.. My warrior had much better braking capacity .. !

What would you upgrade to ? There are funky shit out these, some looks strange, other look odds... I don't know what to choose !

You could go with the slotted rotor that came on the 07se's and on. Or wave. Depends on how much you're looking to spend.

Go with a slotted rotor and better pads. Almost any pad that has a copper color (Sintered metal) is going to have better stopping power. Less brake fad and last longer against sand/dirt. Also you can put 45 degree grooves in the pads that'll keep them cooler.

I really like these rotors below. I have several sponsored riders who tested them last season with great things to say.
