Title: My build numbers
Post by: txredxj on August 30, 2009, 06:15:10 PM
So I finally broke down and made the drive to get a dyno tune. Woods pipe, pciii, pro design intake, bored tb, kbr port polish head, hc3, 11-1 cp stock bore, hot rod +5, evac valve, new clutch.
Got 63hp and 51tq at wynoka. I thought some people might like to know. I know should have got a better cam, piston etc.

That dyno is quite stingy, but good numbers none the less. I've had my bike on the same dyno and put down 65 and my stock clutch was JUST starting to slip. Hows the motor feel with that crank?

I can't wait to get on that dyno, it will be like hitting the lotto compaired to what we get here.  That sounds like a pretty good running bike, awesome base to build on if you decide to go all out.

I was told by my builder that the dyno is a couple ponies lower than kbr's on his yfz he ran on both. I think it is time to do suspension work. For now I'm gonna wait and see what the aftermarket comes out with since when I started thses were the parts to get and now are out dated(almost as bad as computers LOL). If I had a scanner I would post the graph. Tq hits 50 at 4700 rpm and holds till 6500 and drops off. Hp peaks at 7200 and gently starts to drop off.

In a drag it pulls smooth. Don't know how it is over other modded raptor as I am the only one around with more than a big three. Everyone has a yfz or banshee it seems.

I've pulled on that dyno a couple times with my current mods. Those are some good numbers.

So I went and it really pulls on the top. Pissed off some guys with banshees LOL, they would actually pull off the line when I rolled up LOL. Riding on the trails was the most intense. I couldn't turn super sharp with staights but I came up fast on my buds. Wish there was more modded raptors there but oh well. My friends little brother got a dyno and pulled a 50 hp /45 tq with a dobeck, full hmf pipe and k&n. Kinda pissed me off but his chart was totally different because he had no top end. Best numbers I have heard of for a three mod though.
