Can I make a suggestion to your lay out this would be better way to wire your horn. Less likey to catch fire and your button wont burn out or burn shut. I never posted a pic before hope this shows

Homestead, I promise if anybody wires up the diagram you made up, they WILL MELT THEIR SWITCH! and pop their fuse every time they touch that button, they could also and most likely melt the relay. This is a horn button (interrupt switch) , not a toggle switch. Your diagram has some poor sucker grounding out their positive wire to the frame causing instant welding of button and relay. CRIPES.

Definitely use an inline fuse, I forgot to mention it. I do understand that you are suggesting the use of a relay, but I have a total of 3-4 minutes in the past 12 months. It's not a radio or extra set of lights. It's a horn that gets about 4 seconds of action per ride.
Okay, no problem its your bike. :thumbs: You may want to look at the diagram nothing is shorted to ground. When the button is pressed it is completing the circuit to ground to energize the relay and close the contacts to the positive connection to the horn. The diagram is correct. Maybe I should of use a black line on the relay going to the button indicating the ground instead of red. but other that color depictiont it is correct.

Got ya. Yeah the red instead of black was the throw off. Looking at the diagram I couldn't make up my mind if you meant to use black there or if I was looking at a different relay, even though it appeared to be standard. Cool bro :thumbs:
