Title: My Grizzly Project- Now no longer at mad max
Post by: Ranger on June 06, 2009, 07:08:58 PM
Got all plastics off to be wrapped in camo by my buddy, cleaned the crap outta em (literally haha) used simple green and a lotta elbow grease, then I got some cans of Krylon Camouflage paint (Olive) and sprayed the undersides of the plastics...Still trying to decide if I should put in the "splotches" too or leave it as is...

Some pics so far:

The undersides so far...I know there are spots I missed on it, most of it will actually be covered up by the chassis and I used up 2 full cans of the stuff so I'm saving the last can for touchup...

Riight haha...It's mostly stock as you can see, just got a PC3 and the Vapor dash on. Gonna have a trinity intake on soon and then start look at exhausts....Then maybe Flexx bars.

Mad Max is no more...I'd show a complete pic but I got some panels off again (just side ones) for a spark plug change, damn thing wouldn't stay running so I pulled the plug last night and it's pretty well-done.

The pics! Fucking pain in the ass...Carb still acting up so gonna sell it as is, had a hard time installing the winch with the mounts so tweaked so I'm gonna keep it and use it on a trailer.

Yeah, seems like the choke is stuck or something...I did not disconnect or touch any cables that I'm aware of, I thought a little water had gotten into the intake but I went WOT down the road and it's still acting up...Ran lucas fuel cleaner through it too.
