yes i was wondering if anyone knows how much compression can a stock crank in a 2008 700r take? im not happy with the stock 9.20:1 so looking to upgrade thanks

shoot "tbarker" (Tim Barker) and "kenny" (KDS Racing) a PM, both are pros at internal components  :thumbs:

the most I've heard off is a 14-1 venom piston (Preddy 08), I'm pretty sure he was on a stock crank.  Lots of folks running 12.5-1 though

 The stock crank will pretty much handle anything you care to throw at it. There are 14:1 motors all over the place running strong and reliably. Nitrous use is fairly common as well :thumbs:

Yup, 14.1 compression here, with no problems what so ever. I've been beating my bike for about a year and a half and i'm yet to turn a wrench on it mechanically.
