Since you arent' going crazy on the build, I might suggest only doing + 1 valves in the intake side, there was a flow test done a while back showing that the exhaust valves actually come oversize for the stock raptor.

With the porting there's a few ways you can go. And it all depends on what kind of $$  you want to spend.

Bo White (VelociRaptor) does porting, it's probably the most cost effective porting that's out there. His Service and quality and pricing is top notch..

If you're looking for the serious port work. There's a few places you can go.. KDS Racing, Barkers Exhaust, Racers Edge, and Rocket Factory all have their own CNC Porting that they can do. The price is a bit steep ($500+) but the power gains for existing + future mods is nearly limitless.

I think the first step is really figuring out how much you want to spend on the complete set up and find a price that suits your needs and work from there.

Let us know if you have any questions! And good luck with your build!

Sorry guys but my head is the last one Bo is doing... He is doing a stock valve port and installing my 5050 cam.

I guess I got ahold of him just in time.

If air can't hook you up try Jay at racers Edge. He was talking about a group buy for there head.

There you go JRaptor700R, pm Air for prices.
I don't think you need +1 valves with a HC3 but that's up to you. I'm pretty sure you would only need intake valves if you do go that way. Anyone Correct me if I wrong on this please. If you think you will go with a bigger cam one day get +1 valves and springs. You need a +2 or 3 TB in there some where also if you don't have one.

Air, I hope so. I bought a HC3 last week but after seeing the dyno sheet on the 5050. I thought this cam would work better for me in the woods. It looks like it has a good bit more TQ down low over the HC3. Can you lug your bike down in second and third and still have enough TQ to get going without a down shift?
