Title: 2009 Raptor 700 owners
Post by: VelociRaptor on March 20, 2009, 05:17:25 PM
You guys that are thinkin about doin a cam swap take note. Ive seen a couple of these have cylinder heads with cam bearings that stay in the cylinder head instead of on the cam. The ones Ive seen like this have had the cylinder head casting 5VK01 Y-3, there may be other castings out there but have not seen any yet with that feature.

I did a Hotcam III swap, and for sure the bearing stayed in the engine head.

lucky me, I had a 2008 head laying around so I used it instead.
