Title: Map help pc3
Post by: speeddrive1 on March 19, 2009, 05:57:10 PM
I am wondering if anyone has a map for a stock bore with a full gytr pipe and intake with a hc3 cam?
I'm new here and think I will be spending some time here.
Thanks.

hey welcome to the site.

you should check out this website to see if there is a map for your setup. if there isn't one on there you should be able to get one from somebody pretty easy.

here you go:

Yeah, I know it'd get you in the area you need to be in. It'd just need more fuel in the top end range.

Thanks Krandall, I will give it a try.
One more ? for ya. It has been a long time since I put the pipe, filter and pc3 on it and I don't ride it much. To load the map in the pc3 for the addition of the cam do I need to have the 9v battery hooked to it or just the usb cable from my laptop, ignition key on or off?

I hooked the usb cable to the power commander and turned the key on, the fuel pump ran and the pc powered up for about 4 seconds and then the light goes out andon my laptop says that it is not comunicating. Any ideas on what could be causing that?
I have the 9v adapter and am going to try that.
The thing I don't understand is that as soon as you hit the start button the pc powers back up and the bike starts.

Thanks DL700, I hate to sound like an idiot but I just want to make sure it's done right.
Installing the cam was a piece of cake for me, it's the loading the maps thats giving me a hard time.

Yep, hooked the 9v to it and loaded it right up. Now I just have to wait till it quits raining so I can take it up the street to see how it runs.
We are heading out to St. Anthony in june, man I can't wait.
