Thanks....I wish I could take credit but it belongs to an acquaintance of mine. He got the bad ass camera recently and has taken up photography.
Are some of these pics HDR? (High Dynamic Range) I've seen some incredible pics done like that. I'll post up some when I get home. Maybe a few personal (non-HDR) pics also. Got a few pics from kayaking that look pretty cool.
If you are unfamiliar with HDR, it's basically several images digitally manipulated then merged together, ranging from way underexposed to way overexposed. The effect is anywhere from cartoonish to super realistic.
edit time: I'm home from work.

Houston, but I've been to Omaha several times. Been to the SAC museum a few times and Freedom Park a few times. The Houston Zoo isn't jack compared to the Omaha Zoo either. Ours is boxed in by roads so it's fairly small. Some renovation work has been done here but I haven't been yet to check it out.

This is a great thread and excellent pics everyone. I showed this thread to my g/f and now she wants to go to bora bora for our honey moon next year! Works for me if it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
If you are seriously considering Bora Bora, but would like to keep at least $4-5000 in your pocket, I would check out Palm Island Resort. It's located near the southern tip of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (Where Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed). It's a 135 acre private island.

Must be Canadian.

~Brian
i am from canada :P it was so nice there, compared minus 40 going to high 20's and a nice breeze and the sand there is so soft you like sink into it and the water is so clear. and snorkling is a blast. recommend it to anyone. i also heard on a tour that if americans go there and they ask for them to stamp there passport they can get up to a 25 thousand dollar fine when they get back to the states ??? ....you should fix your government. haha
LOL, oh thanks!
Correct.
In order to go down legally if you are a US citizen you need a Treasury license, which you obtain from OFAC, Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control. If you are Cuban-American or married to one, you can go down once every 3 years under a "general license" for humanitarian reasons (grave illness in the family, etc) and you only need to notify them via a form. You do not need to get a license from them before leaving.
If you are a "U.S. and foreign government official traveling on official business, including a representative of international organizations of which the U.S. is a member; or a journalist regularly employed by a news reporting organization," you also qualify for this "general license." Otherwise you need to get a license from OFAC to avoid being at risk for large fines ($3,000 to $10,000 typically!).

Ford 4.6 motors are a over head cam motor so I highly doubt it is.
thanks preddy i was gonna bitch slap him. it looks to be some sort of ford engine because the distributor is in the front.
meh...didn't look that close.
It's some form of Blown Hemi engine  Ports too big for N/A motor, and the valves make the Hemi part obvious  And it's 426 based, that's why the distributor is in the front tilted to the right :nana:

Wife wants to do something "custom" to it. I'm thinking we're gonna cut the seat frame apart make it a single passenger ride, thinking something similar to a harley rear fender, make it full and low.. and get an old ford tail light (from a 38/39). she wants to strip the paint off the gas tank, and clear it. Just a few of the wolves killed this year so far during wolf season.
Wish I could show you a few hundred more pictures.
It is just amazing how big they are.
They are deer, elk, and livestock killing machines.
The big question you have to ask yourself is why?
These massive wolves are not the native
wolf that lived in our area 100 years ago. There was a reason these
things where exterminated nationwide. They sure do look cuddly and cute.
I wonder if our city dwelling tree hugger society that never has left a
city really understands the impact of these killing machines. I wonder if
a Tyrannosaurus-Rex was somewhere to be had,
that they would want to put them back in the wild too.
Its just a matter of time before one of our granola loving green
peace hikers goes out on a hike and runs into a pack of these killers and
becomes part of the food chain. If you are going into the Blues,
Cascades, or up above Spokane hiking, game scouting, mushroom hunting, or
for something else you better start carrying a side arm. Can you even imagine
being out by yourself and having 8 to 12 of these monsters surround you!
Think about what kind of appetite a dozen of these must have and remember
they are the only predator in our nation that kills for fun along with for
food. The amount of animals they take are just a partial portion of what
they need to eat. When elk are calving they will kill the calves just for
fun after they have had all they can eat and then leave the rest to rot.

Holy crap! Direwolves!
I'm thinking Photoshop. I've seen Timberwolves (Largest subspecies of the Grey Wolf), and they were ~100-120lbs. according to Wiki the largest ever killed was 175lbs, and the largest ever was the russia/european version at 195lbs. Those pics looks as if they all might be ~200lbs realm.
second photo down seems the only one reasonable
maybe they are just really short hunters?

My dogs ear got realy swollen the other day and had to take her in for surgery. They had to make a couple of incisions. Instead of using a regular staple they sewed on regular old buttons to help with swelling. At first when the doc was talking about it I thought it was going to be some surgical grade buttons.....OH NO!

The doctor had to use twice the ammount of anesthesia on my pup. He said she refused to go down  She's a tuff ole bitch! Surgery was at 9am and here it is 7:30 and she's still moaping around the house cross eyed.
