A few of us went out this past weekend and my cousin had a little accident on his raptor.
He is ok. Just a bad concussion. Nothing broken on him or the quad. He did lose about 2 hours of memory, an hour before the crash and an hour after. He still does not remember what happened. From the looks of he crash site, the front tire dug into a hole and catapulted him one way and the quad another. He was knocked out a little over 2 minutes.

WOW, what a crash. This should prove to ALL that helmets are a requirement even when riding across open flat ground.
I hope he has the courage to jump back on the horse though. Kind of a freak accident. Glad he's going to be alright
WOW! crazy stuff man, been there before, its chilling to see someone just lay still like that.
very glad he was wearing a helm, and is ok
my heart just sank into my stomach. :jaw:
Glad he is OK. Wearing his gear!
ANd: people who ride sport machines with no helmets are begging to eat through a straw. Be safe guys!
And aside from the wreck, vid made me homesick, because it linked to a bunch of other pismo vids. :(
Man!! That is one nasty crash!! Glad to see the head and chest protection!! It sounds as if he is a ok that's great!!!!!! What all did he bend / brake on the 700?
damn :jaw: at least he had on the helmet. sucks that he basically just took off and that happened.
I have to agree with everyone. This just shows it does not matter how short of a ride you are going on or where you are going to ALWAYS put on your helmet.
I had one time I didn't wear a helmet because i had girl on the back with me so I was going really slow and carefully giving her rides to the different jumps in the woods so she could watch everyone jump. At one jump we call the half pipe. I asked her to jump off so I could jump it a couple times. Round number 2 on it, endo, pinned under the quad while I was bent backwards and got a chunk of hair ripped out of my head where the back tire hit me.
I got lucky. DONT be a dumbass like I was once! Thats all it takes is that one time!

The levers got bent a little and so did the handlebar. Can't even notice!! oh and the only thing that broke was the flag!!
Damn man...Glad to hear he is alright though.

He jumped right back on it about an hour later!
