Post by: Leanfactor on January 14, 2009, 06:43:19 PM
Looking for any suggestions on what kind of air filter cleaner/oil I should get for a stock air filter?

i swear by uni filters and cleaner/oil, but thats just me, there are lots of brands that work well, make sure you use white grease where the end of the filter seals against the air box

I use Dawn dish soap on my foam filters. Never had any issues. For oiling them I use Belrays foam filter oil. a good soaking.

I use anything available at the time.  I figure if I hurt the filter I just throw on another one. ( I have like 5-6 spars now.) For customer bikes I clean the filter with either the bel-ray cleaner or I use the k&n stuff.
