Title: brake line and cables
Post by: jonesi700r on December 13, 2008, 01:46:23 PM
i recently installed a modquad fat bar clamp and pro-taper contour bars. now my brake line to the master cylinder wont reach and the throttle and clutch cables are pretty tight. i was wondering if the streamline (or other brand of steel braided brake lines) would cure this problem or if theirs a cheaper way? also are the after market cables longer than stock?

try rerouting the cables, maybe some wires are tied together  ??? see if they are tied together and cut the ties to loosen them up

Cali is right. I put on Flexx bars with Rox rizers and just cut the tye raps and did some rerouting and the cables clear with no binding.
