Here's where you can post up your "toasted parts" I call it my "wall of shame"

not the most fun repair to do in the sand. Just don't drop your wrench.

how you did it in the desert amazes me... i had a garage full of tools... presses included...
sully looks like youve taken a few hard hits... WOW at those bars and A-Arm
the most expensive part of my wall of shame
damn. it looks like you beat the shit out of it with a hammer. :jaw:
Well I see I'm not alone in collecting broken Rappy parts.
1FST690 is that valve resting on top of the piston or THROUGH? :jaw:
Sully, I love the evil Chucky doll threading job on the fender. Like frankenstein!
Blair, love the sig. Genius has it's limits. Yeah that was not the best day of the trip. The next day the sprocket cracked in half from all the twisting that was going on the day before. And..if I would have had my thinking cap on, I would have just pushed it 10 ft or so onto the pavement. Far be it from me to take the easy approach.

That would be where my brand new build had a Kibble White valve failure. The valve put 6 holes in the piston including 3 completely thru until it came to its final resting place right where it sits. It is stuck in the piston so hard I dont think it will come out. Not shown is the broken rocker arm, the other bent valve stuck in the head, the fractured sleeve and fractured cylinder :'(
i just threw out a pair of rear brake shoes that i let go to long. the braking material was completly gone. it was digging it to the copper stuff or whatever metal the material is stuck to.
