Title: another bumper thread, i know i know, help me decide?
Post by: MrStevie on December 02, 2008, 09:32:14 PM
ok, i know this topic has been beaten to death and i just posted a bumper thread, but i just can't make up my mind. i'm going to buy a pro armor bumper tomorrow and can't decide on which of these two to get. what do you guys think? let's take a vote. thanks for putting up with an indecisive newbie
here's my quad

#1. I think it follows the contours of the raptor better. Mainly the front fender shape. The left and right side flow outward like the fenders do. #2 is too straight up and down on the left and right side. Doesn't seem to go with the flow of the quad, IMO.

At the risk of being rude, just buy a damn bumper
I still have the stocker on my 06. Why, cause I couldn't decide either...

I like the #1 better for the reasons wobble stated above.
Oh ya, and that's the one I bought myself.

I have a brand new IMS Roll bumper with two inserts, I just had it polished and was only on my bike for one ride so it's brand new, I got my GYTR bumper polished and like it better. $85.00 if you want it.

I had #1 for over 2 years. It did a great job until it met a rock way bigger than it was. my son has #1 also. #1 & #2 this sounds weird.
