Title: What is my kenz head worth?
Post by: socalrappy700 on November 10, 2008, 09:38:11 AM
As the title says I have someone interested in my kenz P&P head, kenz 105 bore 12.5:1 piston and custom kenz grind cam.  He'll be giving me his stock head and I wanted to know how much cash I should ask in addition for all of that.

keeping the cylinder, just going with a new piston.  And I'm not sure if its sleeved or bored, I don't know what kenz did.  Would it be better to sell teh cylinder and start all over?

Actually..... I think it may "have" to be sleeved.  I've retyped this 3 times now.. second guessing myself.. I can't remember if the stock cylinder can be just "bored out" or if a sleeve is required.

If it's a 105mm bore from Kenz it is not sleeved, it's bored and re plated.

Mine was my stock bore OEM cylinder that Kenz bored and sent out to be re plated. It's held up amazingly well for me

From what Ken has told me he doesn't sleeve cylinders. When my bore is wore out I'll either get a 105mm CP or send mine to Bo to be sleeved depending on finances.
